At Global Prospective School we go above and beyond the traditional approach to education. We recognize each student as a global citizen and thus we strive to educate them academically and emotionally.   We have taken careful and calculated measures with every aspect of our school environment to ensure that no students fall through the cracks. We get to know your child on a personal level and through the connections we build and the behaviors we model, we guide him/her through his/her development both academically and emotionally.

Academically: Global Prospective School is a project based learning center for home school students. Our elementary and middle school program consists of classroom instruction with a complete syllabus of activities and an additional 9 hours a week dedicated specifically to project assignments. Elementary and middle school aged students focus on skill building in the areas of math, literacy, writing, science, and social studies.  ESE students receive the added benefit of 2 hours of one-on-one instruction in Orton-Gillingham and Wilson based reading programs, each week. As a group, we utilize a project based learning format where students are required to complete both STEM (science, technology, engineering & mathematics) and CSA (community service action) projects throughout the year. Our high school aged students participate in dual enrollment classes and benefit from customized SAT/ACT test prep classes. In addition they receive assistance with college and scholarship applications as well as counseling and encouragement through the process.

Emotionally: Our community service action projects provide our students REAL opportunities to solve REAL world problems. This serves not only to educate our students about relevant problems, but it also empowers them with the understanding that they can effectuate change.  We partner with community organizations and activists worldwide to tackle problems by offering solutions and/or raising awareness. Through projects like these and everyday interactions we strive to help our students become their best selves. We are relentless in our pursuit of helping them to be the best people that they can be. Our school culture teaches our students how to communicate respectfully and embrace diversity by learning about and understanding other cultures.  We teach our students that their words and actions are powerful and thus they must be accountable for them. At our core we follow a very simple mantra: be good to yourself, be good to others, and be good to the environment.
